The Mt. Adams Field Team Program is one of only a few AmeriCorps programs to offer housing for its members. During their term, field team members develop a close-knit community that lives and serves together.
Members in our Environmental Internship Program are responsible for finding their own housing and often choose to share housing in or near the community where their projects are located.

25 Environmental Interns serve 1700 hours from mid January to mid November. Internships offer opportunities to teach environmental education, coordinate volunteer programs for government agencies and restore and preserve public lands.
10 Summer Environmental Interns serve 900 hours from mid June to mid November. Many of these positions are field based.

12 Field Team Leaders serve 1700 hours from mid February to mid November. Most leaders perform trail maintenance and construction; some engage in fuel reduction projects.
30 Field Team Members serve 900 hours from the end of May to the end of October.
